About SKAB

The Shin Kicking Association of Britain was formed after one too many pints of inspiration at our spiritual home and headquarters.

Here’s a picture of some of our friends and founders:

THE SKAB HQ

The Seagrave Arms is the best pub in Weston Subedge, a Gloucestershire village nestling below Dover’s Hill, which is England’s very own equivalent of Mount Olympus.

Men have been cracking shins on Dover’s Hill for four centuries back in the days when the "Sabbath was desecrated and made hideous by drunken orgies”.

THE COTSWOLD OLIMPICKS

England’s summer ‘Olimpicks’ take place every year on the first Friday after the second May Bank Holiday (in other words, usually the first Friday in June).
